Literary Criticism Resources

Online Databases available through Cincinnati Public Library - you will need your library card number. If you do not have a library card, you can apply for a child or teen only temporary card and this will give you the logon info needed to use the online resources right away. Make sure to select "Child or Teen Only". You may also see Ms. Miller for temporary logon information.

Gale Artemis Literary Sources - Use the Topic Finder to find new topics or keywords and discover new connections found in the top results. Please note - highlights and notes are only saved within your current session. Make sure to email them to yourself before you log out.
Literary Reference Center

INFOhio I-Search - Searches all of INFOhio's resources including Literary Reference Center. Make sure to click on the Advanced Sources tab to get the results most relevant for this assignment. (You can access INFOhio from home. See Ms. Miller for password info.)

Books
Search the library catalog for the name of the author or the title of the work you are writing about.
Look in the 810s for American literature and the 820s for British literature.

EasyBib A great tool to keep track of and correctly format your citations, and it works well with most databases. Chrome extension and Google Doc add-ons are available.
